Well, it could be worse.

Well, it isn't influenza--at least, not type A or B, the two "big guns" of the viral world. It's some viral doppleganger, and while it probably won't kill me, it's making me as sick as a dog.

There have been a number of deaths in Suffolk County due to complications arising from influenza infections; since I'm not the healthiest of individuals, I was genuinely worried about dying. Fortunately, I don't have anything in addition to the flu like staph or pneumonia, so while I may feel like I'm dying, I'm not.

Such is life.
